  1. Sir my hospital doc is being submitted for claim settlement. It’s almost 4 hrs. But no response from Religare my policy no is 10756770. It’s pathetic service given by the Reliagare..while giving policy u assure that the claim bill get settled. After hospitalisation when actually we need u r help.. u people deal this way.     Sub: Unjustified demand/Hike in Health insurance premium for People who have reached in Age slab of 60 years. 
    Good morning and greeting of the day. 
    I am writing you my mail and humbly request you all to intervene and investigate why and how so much increase ( 50% of actual  premium being demanded by Religare Health insurance. This is in interest of  50 Crore Old age Senior citizens who have either lost their jobs or are facing tough time to pay premium.   
    We do accept that there should be change or increase once the age slab changed but at the same time there must be some justifications. It can not be just 50% more than regular premium. I would like to have justification on this from Religare and IRDA. If there is any rules-regulation passed, please let me have the copy to understand. 
    My Policy number 10122276I.

    I started my Medical insurance in the year 5th Sept 2013 and that time my Premium amount was Rs. 17166/-.+ tax for Sum- Insured amount Rs. 5 Lacs.  Thereafter the premium increased twice in between and my last year premium paid Rs. 20618 + GST. Total Rs. 24330/- ( Receipt attached.)As per this year they sent demand of Rs. 31937/-+ GST =Rs. 37687/-. ( This is almost a 50% increase from Last year’s premium. In their policy agreement nowhere it is mentioned that the increase will be in range of 40-50% if Age slab changes. You may see the given below reply by Religare customer support division is self explanatory and unjustified. 
    On account of Improvement, how much one should raise the demand. In the Corona pandemic situation many senior citizens have lost their jobs or not getting salary in time or huge cut in salary. In this situation they accept help from organisation and not unjustified demand which will create panic. There are more than 50 crore senior citizens in this country who will badly  suffer if such hikes are applied by Health insurance companies without giving any additional benefits.

    I would like to make a complaint because I am very frustrated by your behaviour. you are continuously asking for the documents and when i am contacting you by making a phone call you always say that your amount is under process and then after some time you asked for some documents. This is not fair, clearly tell me if you don’t want to process it. I have already submitted all the documents to you. Even my doctor is saying that I can’t believe why religare is demanding for further documents. We have already done it from our side and I am again requesting you please process that amount ASAP. I am already bearing very much due to my accident in a physical manner as well as the monetary loss.

Thru known ind person I approached co for covid policy declaring preexisting diabetes and BP Local vadodara br officer Chirayu bhoi accepted premium on 2nd dec this categorically not indicating any extra premium requirement 1 Receipt was issued after 5 days that too much follow up 2 He said along Mr patel some one will call and policy will be issued within 5 working days 3 I asked him who is superior to him I would like to talk or write to understand cover note He replied no body he is final authority 4 Nobody called or policy issued contrary to i was told 5 After 13 days suddenly got email asking extra premium instead policy 6 I requested to cancel my proposal and refund rs5112 Mr bhoi is delaying intentionally Such pathetic customer service Mr Anuj Gulati pl look this case your employee is blunt misusing his office 9998719670

    Policy no 12109639, Claim no 91549026 Dated 6 october,i m saddened to state that my claim of Rs3.0 lac was rejected on the hypothetical ground that i have not disclosed pre medical history of diabetes &hypertension at the time of insurance,in fact these illness diagnosed in feb 2019. policy issued in 2018 at that time no such illness,which was clearly indicated in pre medical test conducted by Religare Doctor.i have submitted all original documents in support of it,but no body is listening.It seems that company has some hidden policy of rejecting claims on the hypothetical pretext of non disclosure.plz address my plight.

  7. I am sorry to say that your service is very poor . My reimbursement almost submitted 4 month and I have again submitted the application to the Gurugram office but no response from your side. I have health insurance for me and my policy is 10424332, I have never thought you people are nothing more than a thug, just scamming people in the name of health insurance. I had surgery twice last year because of a kidney stone and you rejected my claim by saying it does not come under the policy, is this your service for real.I will change everybody’s health insurance policy for my family right now .i am waiting more than enough so I can’t wait. Please provide my reimbursement.

  10. I am appending a recent exchange I had with your claims department which is self explanatory. I am written to you pertaining this matter earlier also but appears your company have no management and no ownership. Incredibly poor customer service and totally unhelpful attitude.

    I don’t know if you realized how stupid and unprofessional it was from your side when you already have had all information since May 24th regarding original documents that were sent to you via DHL courier service with copy of DHL airway bill and giving breakdown of all documents requested by you in that consignment.

    I find it totally surprising you and your management ignoring several messages sent to you in this connection and not taking any ownership. I want to know when my claim will be settled and not your slippery replies like you have shared the information with your team after an inordinate delay. I want a clear answer when the claim will be settled since you are sitting on the information as of from May 24th and DHL has delivered the documents to you on June 08th.
