    Kindly refund processing fee of prs 3658 which has taken 2 times form my account wherein i was committed from your end  to 2nd time debited amount will adjust from first EMI , its being months to trying get information from your end(your agent) where most of time no one receive the calls or if receive then only replied “ma’am almost the bs hu gaya thod time aur”. 
    Being Middle class civilian  and working person it’s not possible for me to give numbers of years to get financial support from HDFC LIMITED to get my dream house.

  6. I am HDFC ltd client since 2006. I have applied for issue of List of Documents and Foreclosure letter on July 24, 2020 so as to transfer the loan to other bank. The executive asked me to pay by cheque an amount of Rs. 590/- towards fees for issue of the requested documents. However, the HDFC Ltd executive didn’t share with me any contact email / phone even when I asked for.

    On July 28, 2020, I visit the HDFC Ltd Mind-space branch again and met other executive named Mr. Rohit Bhosale and understood that, the request given by me on July 24, 2020 is not even recorded by the executive till July 28,2020.

    I informed by Mr. Rohit Bhosale that I have to paid the fees of Rs. 590/- on July 24,2020 and was informed that the documents shall be issued within 10 working days.

    I have sent 2 reminders to Mr. Rohit Bhosale that I will be visiting branch on August 10, 2020 (the 11th Working day from July 24, 2020) to collect the documents as committed. However, on August 9, 2020 (i.e. on SUNDAY) I have received a reply to my surprise that I should visit the branch post branch confirms that documents are ready.

    This is frustrating. HDFC Ltd does neither respect nor care the customers time and cost.

    noticed that HDFC has increased automatically the rate of interest as and when rate is changed, however, the interest rate is not decreased automatically unless we visit to the branch.

    Following are other issues:

    1. HDFC Ltd is not showing the balance Principal Amount online unless specifically asked.
    2. HDFC Ltd never inform/intimate you about the reduction in rate of interest directly.
    3. HDFC Ltd executives are not willing to support if we wish to transfer the loan to other bank.
    4. HDFC Ltd executives are not issuing the List of Documents in time (that is 10 working days) even we pay the required fees.
    5. HDFC Ltd site does not indicate any email id for complaint.

    It is difficult to deal with HDFC Executives and It is absolutely non-cooperation from them if you intend to transfer the loan to other bank.

    HDFC Executives are least bothered that the client (who is with them for almost 13 plus years) is getting upset due to their poor service.

    • I am also facing similar problems. They said it would take 30 days to provide List of Documents. I am asking them to send the list of documents on email but no response.

    • Completely agree, Even i have witnessed the same. They are useless.

      Since last 2 months i am struggling to get the response and the required documents. No one is ready to talk neither respond over email

    Please refund the Amount ASAP and adjust in my loan account or EMI.

    Sir, I took a home loan from HDFC Ltd, I was given a policy for HDFC life for ten years, but the company did not tell me the rules of the policy while giving the policy. It is till eighth class that the company has given me the policy without correcting me without giving me any rules. I have got cancer now, I am suffering from cancer. Gone are the children’s problems and the company is no longer claiming my claim by referring to the rules, Sir was in a lot of trouble and along with the loan, the health policy of the Religion Company was also given, but that company also rejected the claim.     This is my fifth escalation on HDFC , where I am getting varying miscommunications by the HDFC agents , I had closed the HDFC chapter when I came to know that I am not eligible for 4500000 of loan , Two agents Mr Ram and Mr Puneeth called again and again and forced me to apply for the loan ,stating that I am eligible for this amount.

    I clarified several times on call , that I will not go for this unless i get something around 45 lakhs, after a clear assurance from Manager and the team, i agreed to pay the processing fee.

    I have chat communication where agent clearly stated that entire 5900 will refunded back if incase the loan gets rejected before the sanction amount.
    The terms and conditions also said the same thing before making the payment.
    Now i get a new communication from Roopa that they will deduct 3000+ GST from the Processing fee , where i get almost nothing.

    This was not mentioned in the terms and conditions,
    Once i again I was misscommunicated by HDFC , SHould trust HDFC anymore?

    But still on cibil site its showing cibil suit filed.
    Regarding this i have given written application to mr Ruchin BM of bareily branch,but the same is still not done.

    My home loan account number is 612805791 and Loan Against Property loan account Number is 625282882, I
    had asked to reduce the interest rate by paying 2950 rupees in it, which was done but you also reduced
    my EMI without informing me; while I am able to pay as much EMI as before but How can you do this
    without any notice.
    what was the benefit of reducing interest Because of your laid down procedural guidelines of HDFC i
    will have to pay at least 4 more installments ,and I seek no benefit on customer behalf, it is the ball
    in bank favour only , I visited your Panipat branch office for same issue, where I met with Mr. Shivam
    ,he said that we do not know anything when our head comes(MR.Nitin Dhingra), he will tell you and he
    have only power to do everything, it means your branch manager do all works in your branch and in his
    absence no one is there in your panipat branch who can solve the queries of customers because they
    are just like dummy in your branch. A simple work is too stretched. so I have to complain on this
    again and again, but you are not able to complete the work at once. For which I have been requesting
    you for so long. I have never had any problem with HDFC between 2014 to 2019, but this time not a
    single work is being completed, please improve the way of you work. I know many people who are unhappy
    with nowadays functioning of HDFC today.

    In short, I want & request you, reduce my tenure instead of reducing EMI for both loans because i can’t
    suffer more harassment on this , so its my humble request kindly do the same asap.

  12. Your customer care service phone number is of no use.
    No body is picking up the phone.
    Only tape is speaking.
    I hold the phone today twice for more than 8 minutes. Ultimately I tired and disconnected the phone.
    I wanted to talk regarding my fixed deposit which is maturing on 20.10.20 . The same I wanted to withdraw it because I wanted to close my Bank Account which is at Matunga and the interest is being credited there.
    But it was renewed today before due date
    I want my fixed deposit amount to be credited t my Bank Account on maturity.

  13. Your customer care service phone number is of no use.
    No body is picking up the phone.
    My home loan FILE NUMBER 654143174 against which bank has deducted Rs.5,900/- for initial for said home loan file. But, after wasting 20-22 days they said they said :
    “We regret to inform you that we are unable to process your application for a Housing Loan as your application does not meet our credit norms. An amount of Rs. 2360 is being refunded to you towards refund of processing fees paid. Kindly note that of the fee received, an amount of Rs. 3540 has been retained on account of administrative expenses incurred on processing of the application.”
    And at time of giving the cheque, executive has confirmed that they will present the cheque only if the loan will be sanctioned, but they did without any confirmation and loan sanction. So, HDFC Ltd. please look into the matter and refund the balance amount immediately.

Hi, WE had applied for revision in interest rate in January 2020 alo paid the application charges, It has not been implemented in my account due to some fault of someone in the HDFC branch at capital court, Munirka. They misplaced the form but check was credited. I have been running form post to pillars to get it rectify it but no response from anyone. Kindly please look into this as this is a hard earned money.

  15. Ever since lockdown HDFC Ltd Office is behaving arrogantly.No response on phone at local Indore office regarding deposits.
    .My father senior citizen asked to come to office for minor clarification,even when the government and HDFC themselves ask not to visit office as stated in their charter in view of Covid.
    Cheques not accepted to make a deposit whereas,HDFC Bank and other Banks and offices doing and handling all transactions.
    Last time ,the officer not even ready to see document from far away as though I’m Covid positive.
    You have to understand that all are not technology savvy and have the means to do things online..And something which can be resolved on phone should be promoted,rather than asking to visit office.
    On visiting the office,the officer said I cannot help you in any way and possibly the instructions are from above.
    Why so much of differentiation between your own organizations.
    I am really disappointed at the attitude of HDFC.

  16. HDFC LTD Dombivli branch staffs and BM both are giving pathetic customer sarvice they lie while speaking and giving reply. I have submitted ECS registration form on 3rd september 20 along with one ECS cheque dated 15th Sept 20 , when i called dombivli hdfc ltd office on 16th sept 20 regarding amount not got debited from my account they replied your request is already processed now yesterday when i ask specifically when It was procesed they are repliying that It was procesed on 16th of sept 20. BM and staff are giving incorrect information and they lie..pathetic customer service .
    Because of this delay I paid My ECS of October through link and this month also ECS since ECS is not register i will have to pay My ECS through link or through cheque only ….

    Because of this services I have not taken disbursement of 65 lacs loan which is also sanctioned by HDFC LTD..

  18. I have paid off all the bank EMIs on 15 sep 2020.
    Also i have received letter from bank to contact with nearest bank to get the document submitted with bank and NOC.
    Currently i,m working in hyderabad and HDFC LTD bank, Secunderabad A. S. Rao nagar is nearest branch to me.
    Request you to please ship my original documents to mentioned branch and let me know the dispatch detail so that i can visit the branch accordingly.
    Looking for early response.
    Above mail i have send to concerned branch and with plenty of reminders but nobody is responding, i wish to request higher authority of hdfc bank to look in to matter for smooth services

  19. I have submitted my all DOCs on 29/07/20 for Balance transfer to your representative Mr Jatin as per recommendation of my personal banker. Loan Request No. 654118439. Even after my lot of follow-up am not getting any response from your team. Even am your Imperia club member and having more than FD in HDFC bank then am looking for balance transfer. Its pathetic service i faced. Am not able to understand reason of so much delay. Please send me apology letter and one confirmation letter that my documents are not get misused. In future if i will come across any incident that my DOCs are get used then i will go for legal proceedings.

  20. HDFC customer service is pathetic. If it were to increase the interest rate they would immediately effect it. For interest rate reduction im following up for a month. A set of fools who dont know anything are sitting and whiling time not responding and making cut off date to miss so that customers suffer. This is horrible. Want to report on Ashutosh Singh who is doing work worse than a public service person.

    This my loan account number when I applied a loan in hdfc Ltd they said we avail loan upto 24 lakhs very clearly based on that I told to process than they taken amount 5900/- processing fee, without my knowledge they have done valuation also, than I have received a mail we sanction 18 lakhs of you want can take within one day other we will consider this as closer is it the service providing to customer, it’s clearly shows customer cheating & looting the money from customer.

  22. Very poor service / customer sensitivity. Account opening takes about 15 days .. for NetBanking you require Debit card which is not sent in kit . Expected to visit branch as Sr Citizen. All banks offers home service . HDFC needs to look at their policies . DLF phase 5, Gurgaon branch

    I am very disappointed with the worst services of HDFC, Negligence and Irresponsibility of your staff.

    Home loan application no 657313134 created on 25th Nov’2020, paid respective fees of Rs 6000/- same day, but unfortunately till I gave complaint on portal and call customer care team no one responded till 10th Dec’2020.

    Further post handover of all the relevant documents to your executive Mr Ravi on 26th Dec 2020
    (we were ready with all the documents since the day one but your executive Mr Ravi asked us to wait till he give further communication as his document writer was busy for preparing documents which required by bank and he didn’t allowed us to contact regular document writer who are available in market – he said HDFC appointed a document writer to process all relevant procedures without any mistakes for the same he charged Rs 3500/-) till 4th Jan 2021 there was no confirmation from you people.

    Post serious discussion with Mr Ravi on 4th Jan 2021 he gave Mr Sridhar number who updated that the file was on hold with Mrs Neha and suggested to meet her at Basheerbhag branch.

    And Mrs Neha updates that she didnt got time to read the file since 26th Dec’2020 and she requested for 1 day time but as expected her negligence and irresponsibility resulted even today there is no response from any one. Even I tried 10 times to the customer care team. They updated Mrs Neha not on seat.

    In this juncture why should we continue with HDFC even after me having a classic account since more than 17 years what is the use, your treatment is worst than worst.

    Its once again proved that HDFC staff are irresponsible towards their profile and simply want to charge customer with irrelevant charges.

    Its very pain full to continue with HDFC.

    I would like to cancel my account with HDFC immediate effect please complete all the formalities and refund all the fees paid by me also arrange to pay back the advance amount which paid by me to the Vendor since because you failed to process the file due to the negligence and irresponsibility of your staff, vendors are not ready to pay back the amount.

    Initially Mr Ravi and your RM that time Mr Abhishek and current RM Mrs Sravani confirmed that maximum to maximum home loan application approval to disbursement will be completed within 15 working days but its already more than 45 days.

  25. HDFC service is going from Bad to worse. Same is the case with its website. My loan account no 610194972, 471284771. I was looking for converting them to lower rate. I visited HDFC office and 1 hour. I was told to write to Customer Service. I am writing since 7th January. Today is 2nd feb. No one responds. No one from Vikhroli, Mumbai branch even bother to call and update. These simple things should get done digitally. My queries are a) what will be conversion cost in each case and how do i pay them ? b) what will be new rate of interest C) what will be new EMI d) do i have to pay anything if I decide to shift these two loans to other banks after experiencing such hopeless service

I have applied for foreclosure letter against my Home Loan account no 636176107on 6th February 2021 with a request to close my account on 22 February,2021 but till date no letter has been issued by HDFC Limited except a call from their Branch staff of Behala Kolkata Mr. Debapriyo Bhattacharya whom I clearly told to release the foreclosure letter but till date he has not taken any action. Meanwhile twice I have lodged complaint in your (HDFC) portal as well thrice I have sent mail to your customer service and Mr. Bhattacharya but they are still maintaining silence regarding my request.   27. I am a shareholder of HDFC limited and have been associated with HDFC group for the last 20 years. I think a sense of arrogancy has got into the HDFC team which clearly reflects in their communication with customers. I have a home loan with HDFC limited Thane Branch – LAN : 616493945. I have been following up with the Thane team since last 1 month for ROI reduction but still not resolved. Team has no understanding on CIBIL but still cite Cibil reasons for denial of best rate.

    Is there anyone in HDFC who looks into customer’s concerns or customer has to find a way out to some other company?

    Ref: Account number: 00071460008626 (Status conversion from Minor to Major). We ,as a family, we hold four accounts, locker etc with the HDFC bank, the oldest is over 20 years old. And, I am a preferred customer.

    1. The duly filled application form was submitted to Dahanukar Bank Branch, Kothrud, Pune around JANUARY 15, 2021. Her PAN card, Adhaar card was also submitted. I was told that within a week the new cheque book and debit card will be delivered to you place of residence.
    2. Till date , we have not received anything from the bank.
    3. “We are unable to carry out your instructions. Please contact the bank”: Is the message displayed on top of the account (netbanking). Account has been blocked.
    4. I have been regularly following up with the bank thru calls, mails and WhatsApp but the issue has not been resolved.
    5. My RM is irresponsible, is of no value. They are good in forwarding promotional mails than solving the queries.
    6. Customer care sent us a standard mail (three occasions) that your query will be resolved with 2 days. Nothing has happened.
    7. Dahanukar Brach officer says that there is no staff in back office to attend. How is it possible.
    8. There is no where phone number available of the Ombusdman to talk to him.

    I Have applied to Additional Home Loan & not explained my eligibility even after asking myself and rejected and refused only part AMOUNT Rs.2,360/-
    I have received refund only Rs.2,360/- dated 26-02-21. As shared email earlier I was cheated by your staff and HDFC limited bank! In last conversation executive Jayanath Bangalore branch told me that if bank doesn’t pay full amount then he will pay from his pocket because he also agree that this mistake happened from the some tele caller who has not explained and initiated the process when they know I was not eligible!
