    This has reference to our HDFCLIFE POLICY NO 15883078. I have paid 2020 premium 10 days back. Not yet received the payment receipt or acknowledge.
    When my payment was delayed due to corona your bank people was tarcher me through phones and sms alert. After receiving the payment you don’t bothered about the clients. It shows that, how HDFC style of working. This is very useless style of working. This is not the correct way of working. Please let me know the present value and please send the payment receipt.
    Please answer me immediately otherwise I will take the issue to higher authorities.
    Please reply as soon as possible.

    I bought Hdfc term insurance click 2 protect plus policy from the policy bazaar. My policy application number is 1410100510636. Policy Bazaar did not give me complete information. My medical is also done. And now I want to take Hdfc lifc insurance click2 protect 3d plus. The problem is that if I cancel the policy, Policy Bazaar is saying that your medical charges will be deducted, while I am taking the policy from the same company. Yet the medical charge is being deducted. Please solve this problem.

  3. Fraud happened with me investing with HDFC Life in Sanchay Par. Given illustration with some figure and when time came for payment it was different even the policy is not issued also policy document was wrong and to correct that they take their own time.

I am connected with HDFC life for ten years but always I found I am not getting acknowledgement for any mail sent to support @hdfclife.in, Many time I had submitted life certificate online since 22 July but till today I have not received annuity to my account. I have surrender crest policy thru your representative again status not known. recently again I have processed one proposal status not known. I feel it is better to surrender life policy and also cancelled my new proposal and get my money back. I feel entering with HDFCLife is mental harreshment.

  5. I have surrendered 2 HDFC life policies on 29 th August 2020 in sector 15 part 2 Gurgaon office.
    We were assured that we we get the money in 4-5 working days but even after 10 days we have no clue when we get the money . Feeling helpless due to delay.

  6. Dear Ms. Padalkar,

    I wish to draw your attention to the sufferings and trauma HDFC clients have to go through while there is “ NO RESPONSE “ from your team and your customer support “ Call Centre”.

    The case below shows the chronology of events.

    1. 24th August 2020 : I had submitted for the closure of my HDFC LIFE Pro growth Policy No. 17271942 and redemption of the amount. Scanned Documents submitted ( Self attested PAN Card, NEFT form, Cancelled Cheque for transfer of amount ) All these documents were submitted as per advise of HDFC staff.

    2. 27th August 2020 : I am asked to submit the documents as referred above again by HDFC Life Mr Thilakar G of customer care, Which I did promptly.

    3. 28th August 2020 : Ms.Savitha from HDFC Life acknowledges receipt of mail with required scanned documents.

    4. 3rd September 2020 : I receive the payment advise WHICH HAS BEEN CREDITED TO WRONG ACCOUNT : I immediately wrote back as below ::

    “I am in receipt of your payment advice Bene Code 73702759 & Ref TR000000000012493416.

    I have noticed that you have transferred the amount of Rs 554967.00 to account no. 11081870000799,
    where as I have attached with the below mail which I am resending canceled cheque of Maneesha Nangia HDFC Account number 05031000031266.

    I have not received the credit of the above amount in my account. I am once again forwarding my mail of 24th August 2020, kindly have the amount of Rs 554967.00 to my
    (Maneesha Nangia) HDFC Account number 05031000031266.”

    Ever since the 3rd September 2020, I have been calling and coordinating with HDFC (My relationship Manager Mr Kumar Gautam) and writing mails, even called up your call centre but THERE IS NO RESPONSE from HDFC Life.

    I am not sure if this is a mistake from HDFC Life staff or a “FRAUD”.

    If it is a FRAUD than all the more reason someone should take responsibility and respond immediately so that necessary action is taken and such team/customer support centre should operate 24×7 and also get in touch with the customer to understand “WHAT HAPPENED”

    It’s very very disappointing and shocking to note that “NOBODY” from HDFC Life has responded to my mails till date i.e 8th September 2020. I have completely lost faith in dealing with HDFC group now.

    As a last resort I am writing to you and am not sure if this mail will reach you OR will Il get a response.

    Request you to kindly have the amount of Rs. 554967.00 transferred to my (Maneesha Nangia) HDFC Account number 05031000031266, Deer Park Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi 110029.

    The need to break this policy was because I needed this amount URGENTLY and that purpose is defeated thanks to the CARELESS ATTITUDE of YOUR STAFF.

    I had surrendered my policy online along with self attested copies of PAN card, Aadhar card, Cancelled chq. So as I also got the Auto Revert to contact in 4 – 5days standard message.

    Due to Pandemic stiuation we are stuck up with fund badly.

    Regret to inform i have not yet received any call or mail revert from service@hdfclife.com & support@hdfclife.com.
    They bother to revert as it’s generic mail id & no customer support is.
    Hope the noise raised will get positive effect.

  8. Dear Ms. Padalkar,
    I am a retired Brigadier from the Indian army. I live at Gurgaon. I am writing to you on behalf of my son Nikhil Kohli who lives in Australia. About 5 years ago he happened to visit us. He went to an hdfc bank branch at Ansal Corporate Plaza, Palam Vihar at Gurgaon with my wife Renu Kohli who has an account there. The insurance executive attached to this branch at that time convinced my son that he should by an insurance policy although I was against it. The executive visited our house nearby and literally pestered as he was desperate to sell the policy. Forms were filled, cheque issued and policy was subsequently issued. So much for the hdfclife’s desperation to sell. The policy number is 17201196-HDFCLIFE ProGrowth Plus.

    Now the harrassment. After paying premium of Rs. 50,000/- for 5 years, the minimum period, my son wanted to terminate the policy and hence applied for termination in Jan 2020. It is 9 months since the application was submitted,he has not been able to get the money back. The required documents have been submitted. My son and I have approached the executive Sanjay Gupta, at Gurgaon in writing as well as verbally on phone a number of times but his casual behaviour and couldn’t care attitude has resulted in nothing. The last time my son received an auto mail on 31 July 2020 saying that a sum of Rs. 2,98,000/- was due and will be paid after deducting tax and submission of address proof. At the time of issuing the policy the executive accepted my wife’s address proof as my son’s address proof as he lives in Australia and was only visiting us and the executive was desperate to sell. The money has not been transferred in his account number 50100054513692 which is also in hdfc bank and jointly operated by Nikhil Kohli and my wife Renu Kohli so far. The bank statement was attached with the application. Residence proof of my wife in the form of Aadhar Card has been submitted. God only knows what more do they need to return the money. We are still struggling to get the money bank while the bank was desperate to grab it at the time of issuing the policy.
    Our patience has run out. Yesterday my son gets another auto mail saying the the money due is Rs.2,38,779/- as on 14 Sep 2020 i.e Rs. 60,000/- less than what was due on 31 July 2020. The redemption application was submitted in Jan 2020 and the bank did not take any action. Why should we pay for the inefficiency of the bank. I am now approaching your Gurgaon, sector 15 branch through another executive Abhishek to help us. I am still apprehensive that he may not be able to do much as it seems that your bank does not want to part with money.
    I am an old customer of hdfc bank. My family i.e self, my wife and my 2 sons have 5 REFERRED acounts, a number of FDs and other investments in hdfc. I feel so disappointed at the deterioration of service of HDFC that I am tending to close all accounts and terminate FDs if this is the way your preferred customers are being treated. I shall not accept any reduced amount for no fault on our side. May I request you to kindly help resolve this issue for us.

  9. This is a fraud company. It has grown to this size by only defrauding its customers. The average response time for even basic queries during non-Corona time itself was about 1 month, and now its worse! If you are using for the most basic thing like bank account, you may not have an issue, but start using their other facilities and you will end up in pain. Better to avoid HDFC Life ad HDFC group in general.

    Dear Sir/Madam,
    Our overall experience with HDFC Life has been horrible so far, in fact very disappointing.

    First, we signed up for the policy on July 29, 2020 as you had advertised that no TMT/Medicals required.
    We then requested for 2D echo test but you wanted us to pay the charges, and the charges were too high.

    We requested for CTMT, it was scheduled on September 26, 2020 when we went to the Lotus Diagnostic Center the doctor was not available. The Lotus Diagnostic center staff said they had communicated to the insurance that the doctor was not available. WHY NO ONE COMMUNICATE THIS TO US, OUR TIME AND 20 KM OF TRAVEL WAS WASTED.

    The CTMT was rescheduled for today September 29, 2020, they made us wait from 10 AM to 11:10 PM. The Lotus Diagnostic Staff were more focus about their regular walk in customers and least bothered about the customers who has come for TMT test from the Insurance company. At 11:15 AM the Lotus staff tested the BP. The BP was at 150/90 they denied taking the Test stating BP is high.

    For lady aged 55 years if 150/90 is not a safe BP limit and if you can’t allow taking the TMT, then I am really shocked and have no words to express my dissatisfaction. This is a total waste of my time.

    I had requested early to issue the policy without all this drama, if you want to do any home visit with your medical officer and then make a decision on issuing the policy go for it. Else I am done with you.

    Kindly return the premium we paid.

    We have been asking for release the full & final settlement of our fund value maturity amount.
    We are be held up with our own money. Since Jan 20 i was not having Job & was need of money for expense . I had visited in Jan 20 to Lower Parel HO, the customer service guy told u can withdraw after the maturity also.
    I have been writing this with seeing the critical time. We are badly in need of fund.

    Subject message is Policy No 13846357 – Request you help to process the payment.

    But No positive reply yet received.

Your pension is tension for me .Have even not confirmed anything for 1/3 amount. they have transferred in my account. How can transfer amount without asking me or getting confirmation. Not going to accept this below trail mail.
    Need fund value maturity amount asap .We people are struggling to survive here.

    Time & again, i have been requesting for withdrwal of maturity amount.
    Earlier customer service mail reference made from – Khusboo Waghela / Chetana / Rajesh Sharma.
    We are badly stuck with fund , since Jan 20 . I had been to Customer Service at Lower Parel , in Jan 20 – the guy told if u withdarwe know then some amount will be dedcuted.
    During , lock down non of your person called up to withdrawe before maturity date to get full amount.
